Geometric x9

Hi there!

The sketch at Cas-ual fridays seemed like the perfect layout for the idea I had in mind using geometric shapes for the challenge this week at Less is more.

Thanks to both teams for wonderful inspiration!

Another card made easy by my Silhouette!

I very seldom make square cards, but I think it works well for my design today :)

I have used this concept so many times before. If you want to take a look, here & here & here

A last view that shows off the 'cube' or 3D effect of the popped up color chevrons.

Thanks for looking!

Have a great day!

Hannelie

  8. Sometimes a square card is just what you need. I don't think I realized before that you made these shapes by piecing together two chevrons. Very clever, love the colors, and it looks completely amazing! Got to smile right back at that happy face in the background.

  12. Fun to see your card. I expect you could also do this using the old SU whale style photo corner punch. I'd love a Silhouette, though! You do things so well with it.
