Hi there!
The sketch at Cas-ual fridays seemed like the perfect layout for the idea I had in mind using geometric shapes for the challenge this week at Less is more.
Thanks to both teams for wonderful inspiration!
Another card made easy by my Silhouette!
I very seldom make square cards, but I think it works well for my design today :)
I have used this concept so many times before. If you want to take a look, here & here & here.
A last view that shows off the 'cube' or 3D effect of the popped up color chevrons.
Thanks for looking!
Have a great day!
Hannelie

Awesome geometric card for both your challenges. Love your color choices and blocks. TFS my friend. Hugs...
ReplyDeleteSQUARE works perfectly for this cool design! Love this brightly colored card just as much as I loved the previous ones! The MOST PERFECT guy card ever!
ReplyDeleteThe polkie dot cans paired with the sweet smiley face will definitely make all your visitors SMILE!
What a great idea. I'll have to play around with this idea on my Silhouette. These geometric shapes would be great for masculine cards. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteTotally fabulous - I absolutely love the shapes, colours and pattern. Simply brilliant! So eye catching and effective, full of interest and still CAS. You rock! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

ReplyDeleteLove this and your other cards using this geometric shape, Hannelie. Great colours. Thank you for joining us this week at Less is More.
ReplyDeleteSometimes a square card is just what you need. I don't think I realized before that you made these shapes by piecing together two chevrons. Very clever, love the colors, and it looks completely amazing! Got to smile right back at that happy face in the background.
ReplyDeleteOh my, this is graphic heaven! And the square card is perfect in this case! Also love the fun color combo!
ReplyDeleteI really don't mind how many times you've used the concept, Hannelie!! Each time you do, I find it amazing, and fresh, and WOW!!!

Superb take on our geometric challenge Hannelie and this one certainly has the WOW factor ... but I'd expect nothing less from you!!!! Love the bold colours and striking layout. Just brilliant and thanks for playing with us at Less is More x
ReplyDeleteFun to see your card. I expect you could also do this using the old SU whale style photo corner punch. I'd love a Silhouette, though! You do things so well with it.
ReplyDeleteFabby card!
ReplyDeleteStunning card Hannelie! So striking with gorgeous colours!
ReplyDeleteI am totally in love with your graphic, geometric design, Hannelie! The bright colours really pop against the crisp white and the 3D effect that you have created is awesome. Thank you so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
