Beautiful day in pink

Hi there!

I have used the Beautiful day set by Altenew so many times before, but today is the first time I water colored it. I was a bit nervous when I started 😨 , but I soon realized that the less you think about doing it "right" , and the more you relax and enjoy the process, the more successful you become!

By this I am not implying that this is totally successful 😉, but I am satisfied... I really like the end result!

Another first for me, is a little experimenting with photo props ! I've been wanting to try it out for so long... Still getting a feel for it but here goes...

I stamped the large flower from the set with Versafine black ink and my misti. I masked the image I stamped first, and stamped 2 more flowers . Repeated it in the bottom corner, stamped the sentiment , and colored the stamped images with my Zigs.

My card was inspired by a couple of challenges:

Altenew Inspiration challenge

Addicted to CAS ~ Pink

The flower challenge ~ Case the designer : Caseing TaeEun's beautiful card.

CAS water color challenge ~ Flowers

Thanks for visiting me today!

  1. First of all - FABULOUS card. Never would have guessed that you haven't watercolored this set many many times. This is GREAT! Second - love your photos today. Finding "props" for your photos can't be easy, but your using glimpses of the products used on this particular card is a WONDERFUL idea. I really love seeing an image and quickly being able to put together what was used by that artist to create the gorgeous card! Keep up the great work! :)
